Michael Steel is a man I can trust.
    Unlike other "unnamed people."
    No "thug politics" here.

    God Bless America.

exactly. it's not like Michael Steele would pull a "thug move" and bus in colored faces from out of state to pass out fake ballot guides (http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/ar...).

    oh, wait....

Just another hater of working people, another silver-tongued and negative hater with a joke writer. America doesn't have time for more negative jokes about baby birds.

John Cornyn is going to rescue the youth vote for the GOP!?!? Yeah that'll happen. Anyway the racist wing of the party just went south, all that's left now is the country clubbers and the die hard conservatives, maybe 20 percent of the electorate.

Mike steele is the Republicans white mans BOY! They use the color of his skin to try to drum up votes! He is not leader! He's a follower! already he has pulled back from he was going to change and lift up the party out of the Trenches, to todays announcement that the Republicans party is fine just how it is, it just needs leaders! RUSH is the leader of this party, and they will listen to him more than steele. Steele is just a window dressing, and they will use him for just that! Mark my words that if you have studied what steele stands for in accordance to his party, and what he has already steped back from-----You now know you don't have to look any further for what this party will use this man for! It is sick, uncalled for and I hope some one in our party has the guts to call them on it! It's a sad day for the republican party. They dig their own hole deeper and deeper!

This MaxBlumenthal-lite story has been on the front page for a day, and all it had is four comments? I don't think Soros is getting his money's worth. Perhaps next time, Weigel could move beyond snark and point out that at least one of Steele's positions seems to be similar to Bush/McCain/the Dems:

Maybe for extra credit Weigel could - for once - ask someone to defend their policies.
