They forgot to include in this clip..........her support of the FUR TRADE and the fact her FRIENDS are all members of the Board of Game in Alaska!
Wonder how many of these slaughtered wolves she has turned into warm coats and jackets? She is the one who is PULLING the trigger here.

Thank you Laura, and to the others, for putting this story online. It's disturbing to say the least that an elected official advocates this brutal slaughter of wolves, their puppies and also of bears and their cubs. Just recently, I read about those 14 little wolf puppies that were pulled out of their dens and shot in the head; that is, after the wolf parents had been shot to death by aerial guns overhead in a plane. I mean this is unprecedented in modern history - there are plenty of scientific facts to support the argument for wildlife management, but this is not management - this is slaughter. For me what makes it so sickening (that keeps me up at night really) is the fact these hunters chase these animals down in remote areas where these animals aren't bothering a thing - it is THEIR habitat, not ours afterall. Defenders of Wildlife.org has the full story for those who care to educate themselves about this alarming practice. I have tried to get this information out to the biggest names in print, TV, etc. and Defenders is the ONLY source that cared enough to reply to my email begging for someone in the media, etc. to report on this story. For those who cannot see the ruthlessness in this practice, I pray for your soul because you surely don't have a heart.

So, let me understand: if I shoot and kill a wolf from an airplane, that's horrible and inhumane. But if I park my plane first, get out, and *then* shoot the wolf, that's fine? I don't get the difference. I bet if you ask the wolves, they would tell you that it's the gun that bothers them, not the airplane.
