But it seems quite sane, from a policing pov, to be aware if any veterans in a community starts hanging out with skinheads and/or joining the extreme anti-Obama crowd. That is not what the tea party protests are about. If you'd pay attention instead of listening to left wing echo chamber talking points, you'd know that, and you would no longer be boggled.

As much as you may think it is unpatriotic and a sign of right-wing insanity or idiocy to be opposed to W's horrible and irresponsible (where the F was the veto pen?) 400 billion deficit which took 8 years to accumulate, turning almost literally OVERNIGHT into a Trillion+ dollar deficit, based on bills which are not even READ in advance, let alone vetted and publicly debated, so that it can come to light as to how much of that mountain of money is REALLY intended to "stimulate" the economy --- there are legitimate viewpoints contrary to what Obama tells us.

And last time I checked, there was no law on the books (yet) limiting ant-establishment protest rallies to left wing causes only.

I have to confess that I just did a find through the PDF, I didn't read the whole thing. However, even doing just that I found more than Weigel ever could.

Namely, the report says prominent civil rights organizations have observed an increase in anti-Hispanic crimes over the past five years. That tracks misleading statements from a far-left group. And, compare the report to past false statements from Obama.

If Weigel were a real reporter, he'd take the excerpt I provided and find out from the DHS whether they were relying on the SPLC and if so why we should trust the rest of the report given the SPLC's reputation.

Of course, Weigel won't do that because he isn't a real reporter.

No one cares about the tea parties. These people make less than $250,000 a year and are crying about the taxes being raised on 1% of the population. They are using the tea party as an excuse to complain about Obama. These are the same sort of people who went to McCain-Palin rallies just to spread their racist and unintellectual agendas. I’d read it if one person can find an original government source link for the document. I can’t and I am seriously doubting the origins of the paper. It’s not classified and so it would or should be easy to provide a link. Sorry, but these things take many months to produce and I doubt it was commissioned in 2009 if at all. It actually looks like a fraud to me. The whole thing has too good of a specific timing to infuriate and scare the right wing. Isn’t anyone looking at the timing and the content. Perfect marketing. I doubt the origins.
