Obama cited relevant statistics for the decline in science in America and how he would work to get the US back on the technological-science track. McCain meandered about with generalities, nothing specific; completely unfocused.
Obama was quite verbose on Energy, National Security, Genetics, Stem Cells, Scientific Integrity, Research and Health. All, with the exception of National Security, are I-Don't-Care-About-That republican issues. McCain's responses are more like 30 second ads for TV and radio spots; all talk but nothing specific.
