Write your Senator/Representative. The wool has been pulled over our eyes too many times during this "war". The president just seems to want to enact policy to make it legal to do whatever he wants. The unwillingness of government to keep the public informed is not what democracy is about.

I agree. There needs to be a standard for confidentiality rather than transparency - our ELECTED representatives should automatically make such reports public unless doing so would clearly result in harm. "officials...did not see any type of overwhelming need to put this in the public domain" - how about my need to know?
