Anthropologists whole gig relies on their being able to gain full and unfettered access to societies/communities.. If it were to get out that anthropologists were working/supplying info to the military for military purposes, their whole fabric upon which their profession lays is dependent upon their being a benign, passive, neutral observer, is bust.
