The McCain website released a statement from Swindle saying he remembered McCain telling him the cross story in 1971.

Problem is Swindle is not telling the truth.

Get this Politco ran a story about McCain's cross story April the 4th 2008 and Swindle was specifically interviewed on the story.

Goldfarb's explanation is as bad as the original lie! Not only is the POW quoted unnamed, but Goldfarb claims that McCain was telling this story while still a POW! McCain was imprisoned until 1973.

These guys are incredible!
