  • You see the reason we have to spend billions on the F-22, is because “If the president says, ’set up a no-fly zone in Georgia,’ you need a F-22 to do that". Not one of those pussy F-15s or F-16s or F-18s which we have thousands of sitting around. But the larger issue here, my friends, is that “The subcommittee is looking at future threats, not only our ability to respond, but our ability to deter and prevent war.”

That's right, setting up a no-fly zone in Georgia would totally be a way to deter and prevent war. Can't you see that we need to spend hundreds of billions of dollars that we don't have on war machines we don't need so that we can make sure we never have to use them? Of course, chickenshit pussy america-haters can talk about achieving peace through not actually having a war industry, but we've seen where such liberal anti-americanism has led us in sitautions like Vietnam and Iraq, where victory failed because of not enough war. In any case, if there is any war, peace, or any situation in between, anywhere on earth, American Pride demands our presence in nothing less than the very best, the Raptor(TM).
  • Air superiority is what it all comes down to...Raptor...'nuff said.
  • TheF16/F15 already provide air superiority (numbskulls). It's really the avionics, radar and missile systems that make the difference. These items are not platform specific.
