If we were all running two cycle mopeds to work and still couldn't afford gas, that might be an emergency. Mr Kyl sound like hes a practitioner of the politics of fear. As in "I'm so afraid I might not be about to drive my three ton SUV that gets 12 miles to the gallon 30 miles to work every day; we must drill offshore!" That commercial is bullshit by the way. How many economists have to say the gas tax holiday is a bad idea before McCain will believe it? Why listen to economists though. This party ignores the science that come out of the EPA and Goddard every day. I wonder if the president even know who James Hansen is? And nuclear is just a horrible idea, Instead of CO2, CO, NOx and SOx, you just have extremely dangerous waste that we what, put in a mountain and forget about?
