The Washington Independent: GOP Attacks Obama’s Visit to (Now Deceased) Grandmother

Pure evil. I'm so ashamed I was ever a Republican. Condolences to the Obama and Durham family, and contempt for my fellow Americans who have allowed their zeal and hatred to consume their humanity.

How much lower can some of the Republicans go now? Go ahead and preach your attack on Obama about using money to visit dying mother. Go ahead and preach about other conspiracy issues about Obama and grand mother death. How Christian are you? Hopefully, at least McCain has some sympathy. I doubt Palin has any remorse.

The Republican Party, or GOP as some in their ranks call themselves now, are at least consistent in both their message and approach. I'm wondering how McCain would have faired without them? And in the mean time, how wonderful it is going to be watching them leave the playing field when Tuesdays' Sun sets.

McFake has no honor, dignity, or truth left. It is a relief that someone so blinded by his lust for power to choose a fundamentalist zealot for his vice president, will be thoroughly and completely be reject by the voters tomorrow.

Wouldn't she be the last one who could say definitively if he was born in US or Kenya?

My condolences to the Obama family for their loss.

The modern Republican Party continues to show America exactly who they are and tomorrow America will show them exactly what we think of them. Just when you thought they couldn't go any lower, they surprise you again.

Rush Limbaugh's despicable comments about Obama's visit to his dying grandmother, combined with his mocking of Michael J. Fox, reveal only a blowhard without a soul, and he is widely admired in the modern Republican Party.

The GOP's complaint was stupid. I am a donor to the Obama campaign, and I consider visiting a dying relative a valid use of campaign funds, particularly because it's doing the right thing anyhow and the public knows about it. Someone please tell the GOP to lay off.
