The same is going on in Britain over the fact that Obama is not keen on keeping in place what was set out for him before Bush and Cheney left the Israelis are wanting to go into Iran no matter what will happen all we get on the news here is about snow and how the Government is running out of grit for the roads and how roads are unsafe and people are having days of work and schools are shut. And that is all there is The we heard about Obama meeting our Cheney (Tony Blair) and how Obama said he would like to be like him and become as famous as him Tony this is. We just shake our head how can Obama become God.

I greatly look forward to Mr. Cheney's making future headlines when he is tried as a war criminal for his involvement in the deaths of tens of thousands of Iraqi civilians and American soldiers since 2002 and his eager support of torture for those people illegally detained at Guantanamo Bay. I'm writing my Ohio Senators and House Representatives to express my strong thoughts and feelings that this country should not allow war criminals to escape justice while receiving governmental pensions for disservices to humanity.

Herr Cheney may be right. But being right the way Hitler thought he was right is dead wrong. I spent eight years in the U.S.A.F. intelligece service, a year in Pakistan in 1960, and considerable time assigned to not only an "emergency reaction continguency unit" but six months temporary duty with the National Security Agency. I assume Herr Cheney was doing something extremely important himself while I was serving my countrty in the "active" military, but our path's did not cross.
It really scares me that people like Dick Cheney get into seriously important positions in this country while many commoners like myself with equal or superior intelligence and ability are seldom heard from while serious matters are being debated.
Since Herr Cheney did not run for president, I assume he does not want to be actively involved in the daily affairs of this nation any more. Can we not honor his apparent wishes and write him off along with all the other bad debts that accumulated during his tenure. I'll even give him what little is left of my savings if he will shut his mouth and ride off into any sunset he chooses, preferably in some other country.

Psychology 101:

People view other people through their own filter. Cheney cannot possibly know how or what "terrorists" think or feel.

Cheney, like his counterparts in the Bush administration, is what he claims others to be.

It is very disturbing that Americans twice elected a man (Bush) who surrounded himself with murderers, terrorists & gangsters (by their own unintended admissions).

Obama and his team may not be any better (it appears they have some ethical issues of their own related to their own greed and power-mongering), but they cannot possibly be any worse.

Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Perle, Wolfowitz, Rice, et al should all be in prison where they belong.

Cheney is the poster boy for the criminally insane.

Psychopaths of all kinds have a future in the Republican party.

Dick Cheny being out of office is a good thing. He is only out for himself and his rich frjiends, just like Bush was. Obama is trying to correct their mistakes and bring the country back from their negigent leadership and he wants to accuse him of putting us in a position to invite terrosist attacks!!!. If america can't provide for americans, and the country keeps on their path ( Bush & Cheny) then we are doomed anyway. LEAVE OBAMA ALONE. He is doing just fine...It will take time to undue the damage that Bush and Cheny created. We need to cut govt. spending and Gitmo is a good start. Send them back to their country and let them deal with them and the worst ones, throw them in a secure prison and throw away the key. Take Cheny with you.

You mean like Rush hoping that the current president will fail and the feeble response from the Republicans followed by the even lamer apologies to Rush for having the audacity to say he was wrong? Cheney's prediction of an attack is lame, terrorism has unfortunately become a fact of life in the rest of the world and it has now reached America. Undoubtedly there will be more attacks and it takes no great incite on his part to predict it.

He was a nasty small minded man willing to trade our freedoms for security. If we are willing to allow people like him to trample foreigners rights could we expect our rights to be preserved when we travel? Once we are willing to take away the rights of foreigners it's only a short step to trampling the rights of Americans to catch pedophiles in the name of protecting children. Then we can start torturing murder suspects to get confessions. A little bit more and a little bit more until we're beating little old ladies for not putting enough money into their parking meters. Our founding fathers put all those personal protections for the rights of individuals in there for a reason.

If in fact the United States' security has been weakened, it has very little, if any, to do with President Obama's stance on addressing terrorism. I believe that the former administration not only set us up for attack but fed the frenzy to do so.
