Paid fighters have no place in political wars. These merchants of death make a profit from killing, sometimes indiscriminately. I think that these corporations are immoral. Then again, I also think that insurance companies with sky high premiums and screening for pre- existing conditions are immoral too (sometime you are born with a disease you didn't exactly ask for. Should you be punished for that?). Maybe I should be the one saying "God damn America". The current situation in a country that I once felt proud being a part of makes me sick. But hey, anything to make a buck, right?

Why are these corporations allowed to exist? At what point will another corporation hire them to impose some WTO directive on some 3rd world country that objects to a disparaging contract?

This crap feast is wrong on so many levels.

That Blackwater is allowed, indeed has a right to, make political contributions to politicians who advance their financial interest, war, is a national moral shame.

I support Barack Obama, but I would like to know what he will do to fix this.

Awesome post. Americans, and the world at large, would benefit from a lot more clarity and transparency regarding private security contractors like these.
