The Washington Independent: Awakening Forces Shut Out Of Diyala Offensive?

    Simple, really....The Awakening Councils are loose cannons and altogether fair weather friends....The uniformed troops are more under the thumb of those who currently control them..and they have more to lose if they don't follow orders......But to me, the TELLING part of the story is how.....the "crackdown" met NO resistance.....So is the FIX in??
