Back when the markets were riding high and the Bush people could boast about their portfolios, Republicans recommended that the best answer to Democrat protests was GOTV. Now that Democrats have worked hard to GOTV they consider it voter fraud. You cannot have it both ways.

As a Obama supporter, I feel that ACORN may have given the republicans the ammo they needed to steal this election. Having dealt with ACORN personally, I honestly don't like the way they handled me, or even talked to me. The entire organization is going to rob Obama of a honest victory, and tarnish the results of this election. Obama and Democrats need to dissolve ACORN immediately if we are to avoid post election bullcrap from the Neocons.

ACORN is NOT responsible for fradulent voter registration cards. They, by law, have to turn over all cards the their local Board of Elections. It is up to THEM to sort trough what is real and what isn't. This has been going on for decades and the republican party is trying to get ALL these cards disqualified just to win the election!

Yes, lets purge the voter rolls OF NON-CITIZENS! Why can poor Republicans seem to find the correct documents to register to vote but poor Democrats can't? This is not a hard concept to understand ONLY US CITIZENS are allowed to VOTE it is the law and just because you think the Republicans stole the 2006 election does not jusify VOTER FRAUD do you understand that "sensiblethoughts", two wrongs do not make a right in any "SENSIBLE THOUGHT" I know of.

I too think it's a result of laziness, however, those committing the fraud should be punished. It's your word against ACORN, Brett, but I believe as a result of previous lawsuits and the same shrill from GOP operatives in past elections (who support purging legally registered voters off voter rolls), ACORN does now make it clear to their employees the consequences of submitting fake registration forms and they do work with elections officials to prosecute these individuals. What is most bothersome to me is that it clogs up the system for the elections officials who are trying to get millions of new registration forms processed before the election. We cannot have fair elections unless every eligible voter is afforded the opportunity to vote, including even the weakest among us. I agree, JJ.

There is no way the results of the last two Presidential elections could be reconciled with the results of the exit polls. Statistically speaking, it was an impossibility.

The RNC used Diebold's allegiance to their cause to commit extensive voting machine fraud in 2000 and in 2004. Here is video of a Republican discussing the issue:

There is absolutely no reason to think they won't do it again.

These stories about ACORN are primarily a pre-emptive coverup for the cheating via voting machines that is to come, as well as being additional smear tactics against Obama.

These ACORN stories, while disturbing, are allegations of voter *registration* fraud. People would still have to actually manage to vote under these names somehow. Diebold and the RNC are persuasively alleged to have committed actual voting fraud, en masse.

Folks on the right are correct in saying this is about integrity and ethics, which seems to be in short supply anymore. Folks on the left are saying "this is fair game" since it was done by the other side in the last two elections (which has much merit.) using voter machines, etc.

The fact is the whole political scene has you so entrenched in rooting for "Your guy" that you all have sold your souls to win. I didn't hear the right stand up next to those on the left after the diebold incident to say, "You know what, if he won this way it's wrong." Conversly here we are with the left justifying it as, "Well, you did it to us, so it is fair game."

You sound like a bunch of children. Until you understand you have been conditioned into this "Root only for my team at any cost." while turning a blind eye or not standing up for right and wrong, regardless if it supports your side or not, this country is lost. There is no gray area here. You will either stand together for what is right for this country or we will fall due to our inability to move past these polarizing parties and seek the best for our country. You start today. Ask yourself before you inject yourself in these crazy, debilitating arguments - What is right and what is wrong here. Make a choice, and I hope for you, for me and for our children you chose wisely.

States do not validate US citizenship when people register to vote. The California, Nevada, New Mexico and Florida non-citizen vote will put John McCain in the White House. The Democrats who have allow non-citizens to vote since HAVA 2002 (only a utility bill as a means of identification meets the standards outline by HAVA 2002) are now indirectly allowing non-citizens to elect John McCain to be the next President. Non-citizen Hispanics will not vote for Obama and they do not tell people taking the polls who they are going to vote for because the are under the radar, remember the States DO NOT VALIDATE US CITIZENSHIP when people register to vote and rarely prosecuted violations of voter fraud because liberal judges will not find them guilty unless they admit their guilt. State Prosecutors are reluctant to prosecute cases, so non-citizens have very little FEAR of getting caught. John McCain will be the next President of the United States not because of White Racism but non-citizens who think Blacks (in their mind) are getting a free ride, while they have to work at slave labor wages. Remember the TV ads directed at Spanish speaking voters, to be a citizen you have a basic understanding of the English language these ads where for the non-citizen Spanish speaking voter.

Stand by on election night when Barrack Obama has up to 8 point leads in California, Nevada, New Mexico and Florida and then John McCain wins those STATES.

Of course they will. The reality is that most level headed Conservatives would not blame the mass of Liberals if there was some sort of shame over this. The reality is that there is no shame with liberals. They lie to cover up there own misdeeds.

Here is the truth.

This organization got caught doing something illegal, unethical and slimy.

They had had two roads to follow.

The high road and the gutter. Liberals are FAR more comftorable in the gutter apparently as proven by most of these posts on this MB.

Blaming republicans for everything...EVEN THERE OWN TRANSGRESSIONS is there favorite pastimes.

This is one reason I, as much as I do not care for McCain I have no other choice than to vote for him. Until a Democrat with class comes on the scene and decides to run a CLEAN campaign I have no other choice. The sad thing is that most conservatives and swing voters feel the same way.

IF the media had any integrity and this story ever got legs it could be devastating for the Dems. Good for them the media is controlled by the left.

Why this year is ACORN so in the spotlight? ACORN has been in existence since 1970 and from 2004 they have registered over 3 million people. 1.3 million in the last year alone. The rough count of the allegations of fraudulent voter forms in the many articles that I have read including those by the GOP culminates to roughly 10,000 being extremely generous. That accounts for less than 1% of the total amount of forms that have submitted. Yeah that is real scary! Taking into account that they are also include illegible forms and human error, this drops the percent even further. I would say without ACORN involvement there would still be this level of error. There is no bogeyman nor conspiracy involved in this... while the folks at ACORN have questionable staffing policies, that is basically all there is to it. I've known persons that have worked at ACORN... 18-19 year old KIDS who get paid $3 per voter card. Now that may be a recipe for disaster, but not a conspiracy to steal elections. (Diebold maybe) All those trying to tie our future president to this...Obama was a lawyer along side the US dept. of Justice for an ACORN case. But that's all folks, no other direct relationship existed. I guess it doesn't matter what you know, it is who you know. However, many degrees of separation it may be. MSM does not provide additional details to quench your blood thirst because none exist. If it ws there they would expose it. There in it for the ratings, duh. Stop looking under the bed for the bogeyman...

If ACORN was a organization that worked with in the law it would be a fantastic thing.
Everyone should have the opportunity to vote and have the right to do so but That is not the case with ACORN. This time and in the past they decide to created voters only for the reason to support the candidate of their choice this time being Obama. And you people are ok with this ? Registered voters can get an absentee ballot!!!! Anyone can turn in that absentee ballot for the absentee voter. So your swiss cheese argument is moot "unless poll workers are sleeping on the job, no one can show up and vote twice." Drink some more KoolAid!!!!

Likewise how could there be any evidence if you don't go to the polls until Nov 4th? Kinda strange that many "Dallas Cowboys" players now live in Nevada but still play for Dallas? Hmmmm!
