Rep are the party of division, racism, and bigotry. When have you ever heard Rep talk about issues? Rep rather stroke fear in the public than run a respectable campaign. Now you don't see Dem with a pile of ashes and field dressed mooses, in their front lawns for McCain/Palin.
  • MIA · 1 year ago
I pity that person. And I will vote for Obama/Biden 08'
  • JJB · 1 year ago
typical McCain supporters, haters, disgusting..........McCain will reap what he sowed, his campaign mailed out letters that Obama was an Arab...........Did McCain make them take it down?
  • Joanna · 1 year ago
So, someone from North Carolina is trying to portray smoking as something unsavory? That's amusing.

McCain/Palin are running trash campaign, attracting trashy supporters. It is time to America to take the trash to the curb for recycling.

I really don't understand what the Republican Party stands for anymore. Does anyone know? It seems that their "base" is nothing but a bunch of uneducated, ignorant, racist bigots who wallow in hatred and righteousness. They make me sick. I can't wait for President Obama to be in the White House!!!!
  • roald · 1 year ago
I think there are two groups of Republicans, the ones you describe and what's left of the old guard. We saw that during the voting for the bailout.
  • Lawyermommy · 1 year ago
It is amazing these things are allowed to be played out on American soil.

And inspite of all these things, McCain still claims he does not understand the extreme anger against Obama. So much so that at some of his raliies people are calling for Obama to be killed???? And McCain permits these types of signs/??

I am no Democrat, but as an Independent, these tactics have made a MCcain vote from me ABSOLUTELY IMPOSSIBLE.
  • Des · 1 year ago
I guess if this is OK for some racists, then they would have no problem with McCain flanked by Hitler and Mussolini.Dangerous Bigots.
  • Brnmar · 1 year ago
Dirty politics trying to keep in power the same lying politicians (President and VP) now leading our country.
  • jp · 1 year ago
probably done by a dem. the dem. moral guidance leaders such as madonna can show a picture of mcain with swaztikas and that is ok, double standards it seems, the socialist spew their own hatred.
  • roald · 1 year ago
jp - Madonna was wrong. McCain and Palin are wrong. Please do not excuse a bad act by pointing to another bad act.
  • L Wilkerson · 1 year ago
I think that for the rest of the election there should be no more negative ads except regarding the issues. I think that Hannity, O'Reilly and elisabeth (ther view) should not be able to talk about anything except the issues. Most of the people who come on to talk about Obama seem like Robots ... It should only be the issues.
  • Brian Aandahl · 1 year ago
This is the only way to make John McCain look good, By comparing Barack Obama to Bin Ladin. Just this last summer, Obama was a celebrity and not ready to lead. Now that McCain's Palin edge is gone, and Obama is leading in the polls, all they can do claim that Obama is a terrorist. I'm glad this tactic has hurt McCain, I think he deserves it.
  • L Wilkerson · 1 year ago
That 's a good way to look at it.
  • Des · 1 year ago
I just watched Campbell Brown on CNN and she mentioned something the MSM has not commented on.At a McCain rally, a woman thought Obama was an Arab and McCain said, Oh No he is a decent family man. So are the over 1 million Arab Americans and 7 million Muslims law abiding citizens are automatically disqualified from higher office because of their race or culture or religion? and are all terrorists?,but Henry Kissinger a non-American born should be allowed to run by a constitutional amendment.America has truly lost its soul to the right wing racists.
  • roald · 1 year ago
Des - no arguments from me. Unfortunately, we have to knock down one barrier at a time. A generation back, neither a Black man nor a woman would have been considered by either major party. Right now, it is not possible for a non-Christian or someone of semitic background to be considered. I hope to live long enough to see that end.
  • Jeremy · 1 year ago
Maybe we need to put one up that has a picture of Bush, McCain, and Cheney
  • cagney · 1 year ago
Maybe put a sign of McCain, G.Gordon Liddy and Keating.
  • cb · 1 year ago
A sign like that would be sweet revenge, but remember, we are not that evil. Lets leave the fearmongering and hatred to the Republicans, they are very good at it.
  • L Wilkerson · 1 year ago
I agree. Let's stay focused. I think that is what is helping the campaign the most. Just remember all the people who marched and sat at the counters of diners.
  • Jonas · 1 year ago
Why Mccain camp don't stop the true hatred and divison of instruments that is deployed by there followers?

  • Wade · 1 year ago
If you're going to hold up a sign like that, alright. Have the balls to hold it, then. Don't chicken out and just leave it there. Stand up like a man. Let's see the face behind the views.
  • dhakkan · 1 year ago
what if a woman is putting the sign. How can she stand up like a man. You're a sexist!!!!!
  • whocares · 1 year ago
    i'm a socialist!!! fuck yeah!!!
  • cb · 1 year ago
I do not care what anyone says, McPalin condone this kind of behavior. I was told at Obama rallies, homemade signs are not allowed. All McPlain have to do is make a short speech before the rally, stating they will not allow racist or violent language or signs, have they done that? Somebody talk me down. The excuse that they did not hear the hate is crap.
  • L Wilkerson · 1 year ago
I also thought you weren't suppose to bring those signs in either. I think that both campaigns should not have anything that says NO. Just have things that say vote for them. Most people have already made up their mind. I think that the youth are going to be the most important factor in this race to the White House.

  • bodo · 1 year ago
I know these people believe they are helping McCain. I guess they are too stupid to realize that this damages him.
  • Russell · 1 year ago
jp...Madonna is not running for office. No one from Mccain or Obama's camp need answer for the comments of a private citizen. That is just beyond the pale!
  • TinNC · 1 year ago
Mcain and Palin have brought out the latent racist in their followers and have taken our fine country back 50+ years. They aren't even trying to hide it anymore. Check out the link below:

Hey Russell i doubt if Mcain put the sign there himself but im sure Barak Hussien Obama accepts money from Madonna which makes her a campaign financier and he doesnt denounce her hateful spewings.
