Race Baiting isn't a recent trend. Saying that 6 foot 4, 200 pound black man punched her in the back of the head, fondled her breasts, and then carved a "B" into her face is just the latest example of it.

This brings to mind other cases in recent years in which a fabricated black man was made a scapegoat for a crime, such as the Susan Smith or Charles Stuart case: http://query.nytimes.com/gst/fullpage.html?res=...

This time the ploy is being used not to justify a crime, but specifically to make us fear the "black man", and make us doubt voting for Barack Obama as President, even though he is clearly the best choice.

Good call on the self carved backwards B In the mirror. Nobody would carve a backwards B into somebody else's face. Secondly, if they wanted to leave a mark, they would have done a real job- not just daintily touch scratch the surface. For starters if it was dark outside, and if she were conscious she would be squirming. There is absolutely nobody with a knife could have done such a shallow clean job, especially with all the flesh she has on her cheek. At night that scratch would not even be visible, It was done in the light of a bathroom. Oh. and in case I didn't mention it, apparently she confessed just now on some tv station.

Am I the only one that has noticed that the B is carved backwards on her face?? The only way you can do that is if you are looking in a mirror and do it yourself. Also if you look at 99% of peoples hand writing you will notice that the bottom half of the B is slanted in, with the top half fuller. Therefore it would be in impracticality that she was lying on the ground and the attacker was over her head facing her feet when it was carved.

No, Hussein, it's not BS -- keep watching, you'll see this borne out as a lie. The police have already stated that the ATM security footage and records prove SHE WASN"T THERE and didn't use it.

And she's got "inconsistencies" in a polygraph. And she's changing her story.

And how about that mascara black eye? No wonder she refused medical treatment -- all she needed was a washcloth.

This indicates a bigger, disturbing trend that has developed from the Limbaugh/Bush realm: Whatever I say in the furthering of my just cause is justified, even if it is a blatant lie. It's the foundation of Karl Rove-style campaigning, it was the basis for building an argument to take us to war, and it has snowed way too many good conservatives into a blind hatred of the "evil liberals."

It is probably the single greatest threat to legitimate conservatism that has ever entered the political scene. It is sinking the Republican party like an overloaded garbage scow. Maybe the decks will get washed clean and the conservative platform can contribute to our political dynamic again.

That is obviously some kind of black poweder on her face. Black eyes SWELL. She blogged an alibi purportedly before the attack, explaining why she was going to an ATM on the "bad side of town." Now, because she isn't seen at the ATM she intitially said she drew money out of, she has invented another story, where she got out of the car, knowing she was "on the bad side of town" (so she said) to take a walk alone in the neighborhood, when the guy saw a pin on her coat, no longer her car license plate. Thankfully, the police are onto her shenangians. She should serve time for wasting police time and taxpayer dollars, and perhaps even ruining the life of someone after she finishes her completely made-up composite sketch. There are also whackos voting for Obama, so this should not be construed as something bad for McCain, though.
